Tunnel construction

All components in the arctic tunnels are made of galvanized struts and pipes.

The tunnel hoops, we usually bend on the building place with our specially designed bending machine.

Normal distances between the legs are 220 cm, but when we need a stronger construction, we increase this distance.

The standard thickness on the materials in the construction is 1,5mm.

In the Arctic Elite and Arctic Extreme the thickness is 2mm.

All pipes and bars are 35 and 40mm diameter.

Standard supply includes perimeter bars on the outside walls, and 3,15mm high tensile wire as a ridge connection in the roof.

If necessary, we can add perimeter bars on all walls, and exchange the high tensile wire with a ridge bar in the roof.

In the ends we put up anchors, and also several struts between the first 3 hoops and legs.

The tunnels can be supplied with or without doors.

Doors can be supplied in many different designs, depending on function, strengthens and wind proof capacity.
